Construction of the Science and Technology Park NTP Nis has been completed in Serbia through an investment of €12.5m. The 14,000 sqm facility has been under construction since November 2018 in cooperation with Serbia’s Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development which was a co-investor in the scheme.
Financing was provided in part by the European Investment Bank, while the city of Nis provided administrative support and financed the construction of some of the needed infrastructure and access roads. An invitation for bids for future tenants of the technology park was published in April. They will be evaluated by an expert commission made up of deans of the Faculty of Electronics and Economics as well as three established businessmen.
