Erste Group Immorent started construction on the first warehouse at Immopark Žilina. The developer signed a lease deal with Direct Parcel Distribution SK (DPD) on a warehouse offering 2,180 sqm of storage and 627 sqm of offices. The project is scheduled for completion in November.
DPD chose Immopark Žilina for its proximity to the airport and the Žilina bypass, which is currently under construction. The company also has the possibility to expand within the logistics park. DPD will set up a central sorting center for Slovakia at the location. The investment volume for the first phase is estimated at €5m.
