WSE falls during today’s opening

Today started with a slight fall on the Warsaw’s stock market, with the WIG index dropping 0.23 percent shortly after the opening bell. The Polish biggest businesses also fell by 0.36 percent this morning. Asseco Poland, JSW and BRE Bank drove indexes down, with their shares dropping more than 1 percent. Poland’s fuel ginat, PKN Orlen, also saw a 0.7 percent drop today. So far, only GTC and Kernel reported gains, with 1.4 percent and 1.17 percent jumps respectively during today’s opening.
The sharp drops follow some healthy increases seen on the global indexes last week. However, many of the European bourses started this week off with lower numbers, with the French stock market dropping 0.6 percent, while Germany’s fell by 0.3 percent and the UK saw a 0.32-percent dip.
