Warsaw Stock Exchange companies have fared poorly at the beginning of the week, with the WIG20 index falling 0.43 percent shortly after the opening bell on Tuesday. The sell-off seems to have been sparked on Friday by news that the labor market in the US is weakening. The decline continued into the beginning of the week. GTC, JSW and Lotos are now dragging the indexes down on the Polish bourse. Meanwhile, silver has risen slightly on the commodity markets this morning, while gold has fallen.
