The Warsaw Stock Exchange rebounded on Friday morning, showing some healthy gains in today’s opening. The bourse’s most liquid business, tracked on the WIG20 index, rose this morning by 0.17 percent, coming in at 2391.39 points. The Broad Market Index also increased by 0.17 percent.
After seeing a 1.2-percent slump at yesterday’s closing, the WIG20 index rebounded this morning, driven up by Boryszew and KGHM, which were up 1.8 percent and 0.7 percent, respectively. The WIG40 index, however, fell this morning by 0.66 percent. Lotos and Tauron were hardest hit, with their shares falling by 1.5 percent and 0.8 percent, respectively.
