The European market rebounded Tuesday morning, after the news came from France and Germany, that their economies were growing faster than expected in the second quarter of the year. Along with the biggest EU’s bourses, the Warsaw Stock Exchange also rose at the beginning of the day, reversing yesterday’s course in which all indexes fell.
This morning, however, the WIG20 index climbed 0.58 percent to 2325.25 points at the opening, and was up 4 percent later in the day. Moreover, most of the WSE’s businesses rose today, with the bourse giants gaining most of all, including Bank Handlowy (up 1.87 percent), PKN Orlen (1.8 percent) and PKO BP (1.4 percent).
