WSE starts week with slight gains

The Warsaw Stock Exchange started the week with slight gains, while investors wait for details about financial aid from the European Union. EU leaders failed to reach an agreement on the new 2014-2020 budget last week. Talks are set to resume early next year, but market watchers predict finding a compromise will not be easy.
The WSE’s WIG index increased at today’s opening by 0.15 percent, while the WIG20 index, gained 0.1 percent. WIG20 reached 2398.63 points this morning. Poland investors are waiting for data on retail sales and unemployment rates to be released today.
