WTCO deal falls through again

14 October 2014

World Trade Center Orlando will have to wait longer than expected for its new 28-story building. The Orlando Business Journal is reporting that Encore Enterprises Inc. from Dallas pulled out of a deal to partner with Rida Development to build the office and hotel portion of the mixed-use project near Lynx Central and Sunrail stations in downtown.

The failure of multiple attempts to make this project a reality over the past decade have not deterred World Trade Center Chairman, President and CEO Byron Sutton. He remains convinced the project can still happen.
