Xiamen Intretech opens first plant in Hungary

Xiamen Intretech has opened the first phase of its new plant in Kapuvar, western Hungary. This is the Chinese company’s first plant in Hungary. The investment is valued at €28.75m. The 7,500 sqm plant is installed with a number of smart and highly automated technologies. Xiamen Intretech will hire a total of 200 people to work at the site, which will manufacture subassemblies and final assembly components for the automotive and electronics industries. The second phase of the investment will include the development of a second production plant that will go into operation in 2020.
