Yankee Candle officially took over its first European production facility at Joseph Industrial Park in Havran u Mostu, North Bohemia. Development of the 31,500 sqm production facility for the US manufacturer of scented candles was managed by Colliers’ industrial agency and building consultancy team. Colliers oversaw the management of the project from the initial land acquisition and feasibility process through the development and handover. The facility is set to start commercial operations in early 2017. Joseph Industrial Park in Havran u Mostu was picked for the project due to its strong local manufacturing heritage, infrastructure and skilled workforce, as well as its location. Denton’s provided legal counsel, and Takenaka was appointed as EPC delivery partner.
