YIT completed the shell of the first phase of its Suomi Hloubětín residential project in Prague 9 as well as the shell of the second phase of its Koivu Zličín scheme. The first phase of Suomi Hloubětín, called Espoo, will offer 149 low-energy flats and is scheduled for completion in late summer. YIT plans to build an additional seven phases in Hloubětín. The second phase of Koivu Zličín will include 90 flats. The whole project will offer 161 flats in 11 houses after completion.
Both projects have attracted strong interest from buyers. Espoo is 90 percent sold, according to YIT. The developer’s sales director, Dana Bartoňová, says that a commercial zone, leisure amenities and infrastructure will also be part of the project in Hloubětín. Work is also underway on the second and third phases of the project, called Oulu and Turku.
