Over the last five years, real estate prices in Zagreb have increased by 26 percent. This spring the average price for an apartment in the capital was €2,019 per sqm. Housing prices are on average 11 percent higher in Zagreb than in most of Croatia’s regional cities. Tresnjevac reported the biggest price growth, with prices for an apartment increasing by 37 percent for a current average of €2,142 per sqm.
