ZF Hungaria is expanding its plant in Eger, a city in northern Hungary. The HUF 3bn project received HUF 420m in financial support from the European Union. ZF Hungaria is the Hungarian subsidiary of the German ZF Friedrichshafen AG, which develops and produces transmissions, steering systems, axles, and chassis components for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-road machinery. The Hungarian plant mainly produces transmissions that are sold on the export market.
