A Zlatar Sumice dairy has opened in Krusevac, central Serbia, following a €1m investment. The dairy opened on land that used to house the former Krusevac dairy. Currently 15 people are employed there, and the company is planning to double its workforce at the location by the end of this year. The dairy produces cheese from sheep, cows and goats for the Russian market. Zlatar Sumice’s main customer is Molvest.
