Orlando-based Zom Living has submitted plans to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for the company’s new development Maizon Brickell. The project calls for a 24 story structure with a total gross floor area of 424,258 sqf, which includes approximately 15,000 sqf of commercial use on the ground-level. The mixed use scheme will also include 262 residential apartment units, an amenity deck and pool for use by residents on the 9th Story and on-site parking garage for 348 parking vehicles. Zom is currently under contract to purchase the development site at 221-237 SW 12th Street and 1100-1142 SW 2nd Avenue. The developer expects to begin construction by the first quarter of 2017.
