The owner of Aqualand Moravia in Pasohlávky near Brno, ŽS Real, plans to invest hundreds of millions of crowns to expand the facility, which is already one of the largest in the Czech Republic. The extension will be built on a neighboring 26,000 sqm plot. ŽS Real also wants to open a hotel complex worth CZK 60m next spring. The aquapark opened two years ago in August. It cost CZK 1.3bn, with one third of the investment covered by EU funds. Last year, Aqualand Moravia attracted 550,000 visitors.
