ZÜBLIN, a Strabag subsidiary, is set to build a new commercial and residential building in the center of Amsterdam. The mixed-use project ODE, which is named after the Oosterdokseiland neighbourhood of Amsterdam, will feature eleven floors and two underground levels. It will offer 102,000 sqm of space, 42 apartments, parking space, a café and restaurant along with 1,500 sqm of commercial space. ZÜBLIN Nederland B.V. is the general contractor for ODE that’s been hired by the Dutch project development company OOA C.V., (a subsidiary of BPD Europe). Booking.com B.V. has agreed to open its new European HQ at ODE and will occupy all of the office space. Completion is scheduled for 2021.
