The Austrian-based Zumtobel Group plans to finish construction of its newest production plant near Nis in September 2018. The company will employ over 1,100 people in the 40,000 sqm facility in the town of Suvi Dol. The total estimated value of the investment is € 30.6m, with the start of production anticipated for the 2018/2019 fiscal year. Construction of the facility began last summer and has progressed past the completion of earth works, the structural foundation and the building’s concrete structure. Individual production areas will be built next. The Austian company is a producer of lighting devices.
