The opening of AFI Palace Brasov has been delayed until 2019. The developer secured a building permit for the project in mid July after a two-year wait. AFI Palace Brasov was initially supposed to open this October. The delivery date was later moved to spring 2018 before being pushed to 2019. The project will include two class A office buildings with a leasable area of 25,000 sqm and a 45,000 sqm shopping center that will be anchored by Carrefour. AFI Palace Brasov will go up on a site that used to house a Hidromecanica plant. The land was bought in 2016.
