Publicly traded real estate investment trust, DDR Corp., has landed a $33.75 million mortgage secured by the firm’s retail property, Midway Plaza. Located at 5881 North University Drive in Tamarac, the retail asset features tenants Publix, T-Mobile, Ross and a Dollar Tree. Funding for the loan was supplied by Morgan Stanley and Citigroup Global Markets Realty Corp. DDR paid $28.4 million for the 5 acre site in 2003.
