Ikea will open a store in Budapest’s Soroksár district on June 14. This will be the Swedish furniture retailer’s third location in Hungary, following an investment of HUF 17bn. The new store will offer 33,500 sqm as well as parking for around 1,200 cars, including four electric vehicle charging stations. There will also be an outdoor playground for children. Ikea Hungary reported sales increased by almost 14.5 percent to HUF 53.8bn in the financial year closing at the end of August 2016.
