ROSS Cos. has promoted Billy Edwards to the role of chief financial officer. In this new position, Edwards will oversee the company’s accounting, finance, reporting and tax compliance functions in order to support overall company growth. He has served as the company’s senior controller since January 2016. Prior to joining ROSS Cos., Edwards worked in public accounting with CohnReznick LLP. as a member of their Private Enterprise Practice Group. Edwards is a certified public accountant with a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and received his master’s degree of professional accountancy from West Virginia University.
