BHS Private Equity Fund and 3TS Capital Partners invested €4.5m into Czech fashion e-shop Zoot. 3TS Capital Partners, which recently poured €2m into Zoot, held a share in Mall.cz in the past and currently co-finances the Piano pay service. BHS is a new minority shareholder in Zoot, having invested €2.5m. With an eye on international expansion and plans to invest into logistics, Zoot issued bonds worth CZK 80m in 2016, according to Hospodářské noviny.
The first to invest into Zoot was Oldřich Bajer, the founder of the web portal Centrum.cz. Zoot revenues increased to CZK 706m in 2016, up 56 percent y-o-y. The company also reported an operational profit for the first time in its five-year history. Zoot expects to grow by 50 percent this year, which means that the company could break the CZK 1bn benchmark.
