Starbucks continues its Slovak expansion with the opening of a new cafe at the Central shopping center in Bratislava. This is the fourth Starbucks in the capital, and the company said it hopes to open one more location this year. The US chain entered Slovakia last June when it opened its first cafe at the Aupark shopping center, followed by cafes at the Eurovea and Avion shopping centers. Starbucks, which usually picks locations in city centers, is focusing on shopping centers in Slovakia. Starbucks debuted in the Czech Republic in 2008. Its Czech network includes 20 cafes in Prague and four in Brno.
