Furniture store to open in former expansion of Shopping Palace

1 February 2017

Slovak company Všetko pre bývanie is planning to open a new department store called Styla in Bratislava in March. The new store will sell furniture and household equipment in space Austrian developer Soravia originally conceived as the second phase of Shopping Palace. Soravia completed the expansion in 2009 but didn’t manage to lease the space. In 2015, the project changed hands. Všetko pre bývanie (All for living) took over the complex and announced it would offer household equipment in 45 units across 25,000 sqm of retail space in what will be the company’s flagship in Bratislava. Eurosofa, Tempo Kondela, Merito, ProfiSvietidla and Indigo Decor are among the tenants. Danish furniture giant IDdesign is also reportedly considering signing a lease.
