30 January 2017

Conseq acquired five supermarkets from Czech entrepreneur František Piškanin, owner of the logistics provider Hopi and yogurt producer Hollandia. Conseq bought the assets through its investment fund. The company’s head, Jan Vedral, told the server e15 that Conseq wants to diversify the fund’s portfolio and strengthen its proportion of regional retail assets. Two of the supermarkets are located in the Karlovy Vary region and three in the Ústecký region. The price of the transaction was not disclosed, but Vedral says that yield is in the double digits. Conseq plans to issue shares and offer them to investors starting at CZK 10,000. Conseq is also in negotiations to take over an industrial area to the west of Prague as well as an office building in the city.
