Miami-based homebuilder Lennar has purchased just over 102 acres of land for $51 million. The parcel borders Northwest 170th Street just west of I-75 in Hialeah. The site is part of a larger 135.3 acre section of land which has already been approved for 1,082 residential units (or eight units per acre) and 75,000 square feet of commercial/retail space. Lennar bought the property from Atlas Hialeah Heights LLC, an entity managed by Dania Beach-based Dacar Management.
