8 September 2016

NEPI paid €29.5m for the Korzo shopping center in Prievidza, central Slovakia. The transaction closed in July, but the price was not released earlier. The seller was Alfa Group. The project offers 16,500 sqm of retail space and is fully leased to retailers like H&M, C&A, dm drogerie, Deichmann, CCC and New Yorker. Daniel Boďa, NEPI’s country manager, says the South African investor plans to hang on to the center for the long-term in an effort to strengthen its position on the market. NEPI also owns the Auparks in Žilina and Košice as well as a brownfield on the Malinovského barracks site in Košice. Globally, it owns assets worth €2bn.
