CC Homes, a joint venture between Armando Codina and James Carr, has acquired 28 home lots in the MiraLago community in Parkland from Lennar Homes. Lennar Corp. sold the property at 10320 Peninsula Place, for $8.4 million. The new project will be called Chateaux at MiraLago and will offer single-family homes ranging from 3,705 to 5,281 sqf with prices starting at more than $700,000. The purchase was funded by a $12.25 million mortgage provided by Florida Community Bank, which consists of a $6.75 million revolving note and a $5.5 million construction loan. According to county records, Lennar has the right of first refusal to repurchase the property from CC Homes if no development activity takes place.
