General contracting and construction management firm Gillis Gilkerson has begun work on Park Place Plaza, a multi-use development in Ocean City, Maryland. Located at 12720 Ocean Gateway, the first phase of the project will include 19,930 sqf of both retail and restaurant space and 12,000 sqf in an additional building for professional office space. According to Gillis Gilkerson’s project manager Mike Truitt and superintendent David Shaffer, site work began August 1, with a projected completion date set for the spring of 2017. “We look forward to contributing to a client’s vision and seeing it through to completion,” said Dwight Miller, president, Gillis Gilkerson. “The opportunities this development will bring to both visitors and residents will benefit the community, economy and local experience.”
