The New York-based property company Rocklyn Co. has picked up an Orlando area retail center for $11.85 million. The firm paid just under $360 per sqf for the MetroWest Shoppes, a 32,946 sqf shopping plaza and the a joining 177,855 sqf tract of land. The empty parcel has been approved for Phase-2 of the development, referred to as Villa Capri at MetroWest. Located at 3120 S. Kirkman Road, the asset features national tenants Chase Bank, Five Guys, Verizon Wireless, FedEx Kinko’s and Subway. The vendor was Estero-based Montebello JTA Group having bought it in February 2015 for $9.35m.
