Sarasota construction firm Satterfield & Pontikes Construction has won a tender to construct two Wal-Mart stores in Sarasota. The two projects include a 38,750 sqf Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on Clark Road and a 4,000-sqf Wal-Mart Beer, Wine & Spirits on the corner of University Parkway and Lockwood Ridge. The contract marks the 20th and 21st Wal-Mart projects the company has won since entering the Florida market. The stores will employ up to 50 and 10 employees, respectively.
