East Orlando Shopping Center sold by Kimco Realty

23 June 2016

East Orlando Shopping Center has been disposed of by Kimco Realty Corp for $6 million. The buyer, Mishorim Gold East Orlando, picked up the retail center located at the intersection of East Colonial Drive (State Road 50) and North Semoran Boulevard (State Road 436). The center is anchored by Bravo Supermarkets and Florida Career College and includes tenants Amscot and Pizza Hut. The 10.2-acre property also houses two additional parcels totaling two acres, which are on ground leases. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler represented the seller in the sale.

“The sale of East Orlando Shopping Center is a strong indicator of the depth of retail investors searching for value-add infill opportunities,” said associate director Whitaker Leonhardt. “There were nearly a dozen groups that submitted offers to acquire the asset, with the eventual buyer being selected based on their competitive terms and successful track record buying from public companies.”
