KB Homes acquires 35 acres of Jacksonville land for resi development

16 June 2016

KB Homes, based in Los Angles, has picked up 35 acres of agricultural land in Jacksonville for a future development. Located off Philips Highway near Old St. Augustine Road, the site will be split into 134 plots for single family residences of between 1,494 sqf to 3,052 sqf. However, the land is currently zoned for agricultural uses, so the developer will have to petition city planners before it begins work on the project, which will be called Copper Leaf. KB Homes bought the property from a partnership of Davis Creek Forrest Inc. and Sweetwater Farm Enterprises.
