Retail turnover on the Bulgarian market, excluding motor vehicles and motorcycles, increased by 5.4 percent y-o-y in April, according to preliminary data released by the National Statistics Institute.
Textile, clothing, footwear and leather good sales increased by 21.1 percent, while food, beverage and tobacco sales were up 13.2 percent. Mail order house sales increased by 8.3 percent in April that data shows. Retail turnover for April increased by 0.3 percent m-o-m.
