Lakeland-based Publix Super Markets Inc. has announced work is underway for its new store in the St. Petersburg’s Skyway Marina sub-market. The 55,000 square foot retail center is located at 5295 34th St. South, will be one of the larger units that the company has built. The new grocery scheme, Baypointe Plaza, will include a pharmacy and is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016.
