Miami-based developer Alta Developers has picked up a second parcel of land in the trendy Flagler Village neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale for $9.5 million. The new acquisition will be for the second phase of a development called Alta Flagler Village. The developer has submitted plans for the project’s first phase of 212 units, and the city is scheduled consider the plans in May. An additional 280 units would be built in the second phase, for which the new parcel has just been bought, but work on the second parcel won’t begin until the first phase is finished.
