Retail revenues in Macedonia rose 13.3 percent in February compared to a year ago, according to preliminary data from the country’s statistics bureau.
Compared with February 2015, sales of food, beverages and tobacco rose by 13.1 percent, sales of non-food products (except fuel) jumped 31.2 percent, and retail trade (except fuel) grew by 22.8 percent. Sales of automobiles were not included in the figures.
