Baumax DIY stores in the Czech Republic reopen following their take-over by the Polish DIY chain Merkury Market. Merkury Market bought the indebted network of 18 Baumax stores from the Austrian owners last year. Stores in Chomutov, Ústí nad Labem, Most, Prague – Stodůlky, Prague- Letňany and Karlovy Vary opened over the weekend. Stores in Pilsen and in Prague-Michle should follow shortly. Merkury Market operates also an e-shop.
