Allegra Tribeca acquires Plantation Fresh Market

The building Fresh Market occupies in Plantation has been sold to a New York firm for $10.9 million. Allegra Tribeca purchased the 25,021 square-foot building located at 12171 W. Sunrise Blvd for just under $435 per square foot. Originally a Borders Books store, the property was built in 1998 on a 2.4 acre site. The seller, IMOB Investments, managed by Maurice Egozi in Bay Harbor Islands, bought the facility in 2010 for $3.3 million. According to a sales listing by CBRE, Fresh Market signed a 12-year lease starting in 2013 and invested $2.6 million in capital improvements.
