The Shops at Kenilworth are scheduled to undergo a $20 million renovation according to its owner Greenberg Gibbons. Built in 1979 in Towson, MD, the plans call for reducing the current space by 8,000 square feet and adding a 20,000-square-foot, three-level “marketplace” featuring a wine bar and a rooftop garden with panoramic views. The facility will remain open and operational during the renovation which will be completed in four phases by May 2017. The center is anchored by existing tenants Jos. A. Bank flagship store, Stebbins Anderson, South Moon Under and About Faces Day Spa & Salon.
“With some creativity and polish, this community gem will continue to sparkle for generations to come,” said Brian Gibbons, CEO and chairman of Greenberg Gibbons. “Growing up in the Baltimore area, this is a place my friends and family visited for shopping and great community events, like the holiday train garden. We plan to maintain these traditions, but add a fresh look and new energy.”
