Hungary’s economy grew in the last quarter of 2015, according to a Cushman & Wakefield report. The growth was driven by an increase in retail sales. The country’s total retail property investment volume reached €188m, accounting for 23 percent of the total property volume. While economic growth is expected to slow this year, according to the C&W report, the main shopping centers and downtown areas in Budapest will still attract retailers.
