PSN buys Kotva department store in Prague 1

Czech media are reporting that Pražská správa nemovitostí (PSN), owned by the Czech billionaire Václav Skala, has acquired the Kotva department store in Prague 1 from its Irish owner, Markland. The asset, located across from the Palladium shopping center on nám. Republiky was sold for €80m in a tender organized by Irish consolidation agency NAMA. There’s been no independent confirmation of the deal, however. Markland had owned Kotva since 2005 and invested hundreds of millions of crowns into the modernization of the 1970’s department store.
