The Terno, Moja Samoška and Hypernova supermarket chains change hands in Slovakia. The investment manager Sandberg Capital, owned by former J&T partner Martin Fedor, is taking over the network of supermarkets from Michal Holík, himself a former manager of companies in J&T’s portfolio. Fedor plans to invest €70m into the supermarket chain in the first phase of investment, according to Trend.sk, which writes, that Sandberg Capital will first acquire the properties connected with the grocery stores, before taking over the operators themselves. The acquisition of the Hypernova hypermarkets will be handled on a one-by-one basis.
