Praktiker has opened a second store in Varna, introducing a new brand concept. The 8,220 sqm store, located on Vladislav Varnencik Street, was built by the construction company Cordeel Bulgaria.
In early 2014 the Bulgarian company Videolux Holding, which owns the office equipment chain Technopolis, acquired the entire Praktiker network in Bulgaria. The chain includes nine hypermarkets – two in Sofia and one in Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Pleven and Veliko Tarnovo. Videolux Holding started the renovation of the existing stores and began looking for new locations. The new store in Varna is the company’s second having opened on last year in Stara Zagora.
