Miami-based home builder Lennar Corp. has picked up one of the largest remaining tracts of development land in Miami Lakes for $47 million. The company plans to build 505 homes on the 142 acre parcel located east of Interstate 75, north of Northwest 154th Street. The city has already pre-approved the property for 267 single family homes and 238 townhouses. Approximately 68 acres of the scheme will remain a lake. Currently the land is being utilized for cattle grazing.
