Car sales for the year are expected to total 230,000 in the Czech Republic, up by 20 percent y-o-y. Next year will see slower growth with most economists and car manufacturers predicting around 14 percent more sales. In 2014, car sales jumped 16.7 percent y-o-y to 192,314 cars. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) say that this year’s positive numbers are the result of the continued economic revival, and from a backlog of demand from the business sector, which was responsible for 75 percent of the total this year.
