MCSS buys land for new self storage development

1 December 2015

MCSS Self Storage has announced the purchase of its eighth land parcel in Pembroke Park in Broward County for an undisclosed amount. The new self-storage facility at 1781 South Park Rd will feature approximately 85,000 square feet of net rentable space with 1,139 climate-controlled storage units. The deal puts MCSS on track to develop over 1.5 million gross sq ft. All of the projects the company is developing will be managed by a self-storage real estate investment trust.

“We are continuing on our plan to be the preeminent developer of urban self storage facilities in South Florida and other strategic markets,” said Jay Massirman, managing director at MCSS. “Our process of carefully selecting infill sites in supply imbalanced markets continues.”
