Amazon will expand its logistics center in San Fernando de Henares in Spain to 75,000 sqm. The new investment will be adjacent to current logistics facilities and will offer 45,000 sqm, with completion of the work set for spring 2016. The American online retail giant is also looking to build a new logistics hub outside Barcelona and has reportedly offered €30m for a piece of land to the Catalan Land Institute. Over the next three years, Amazon plans to create 1,000 new jobs.
