Heineken announces the completion of the transaction to acquire the majority stake of Pivovarna Laško for €25.56 per share, as agreed in a contract signed in April. A total of 4,673,941 shares were acquired equalling 53.43 percent of the issued share capital, for €119.5m. Heineken will be making a mandatory takeover offer of all remaining shares in the next three days, as required under Slovenian law.
